At MHTC, we are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This document outlines our data policies, browser-local processing framework, and third-party partner configurations.

1. Client-Side Processing Framework

MHTC (Metabolic Health Tool Center) operates under a strict client-side processing model. When you open any of our 35 calculators, all metrics you input (including age, gender, height, weight, activity frequency, body measurements, menstrual dates, or drinking history) are processed locally inside your web browser's temporary memory (RAM) via JavaScript.

• No Database Storage: We do not operate backend database servers that capture or store calculation inputs.
• No Server Logs: Your inputs are never transmitted to our host servers, meaning we have no access to, and cannot sell or share, your personal health history.
• Volatile Memory: All calculation inputs are immediately cleared from browser memory when you close the tab, refresh the page, or click the "Reset" button inside the tool.

2. Browser Local Storage Partitioning

Certain interactive tools (such as the Basal Body Temperature Tracker) utilize your browser's private local storage (`localStorage`) partition to retain data logs across sessions (so you can view your temperature chart over multiple days without losing progress).

• This log data remains stored physically on your own device. MHTC has no access to read or collect this local storage data.
• You can clear this stored data at any time by clicking the "Clear All Logs" button within the tracker interface, or by clearing your browser's history and website cache for `mhtc.co.in`.

3. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics Cookies

To support the development and maintenance of our free health resources, we work with third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense. These partners may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons to collect information in the course of ads being served on MHTC.

• Google's DART Cookie: Google uses cookies to serve ads to users based on their visits to MHTC and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network privacy policy.
• Personalized Advertising: Third-party ad vendors may use cookies to personalize ads based on your general browsing interests. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting your browser's cookie settings or adjusting your choices on standard opt-out portals (such as the Network Advertising Initiative or Digital Advertising Alliance).

4. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

We fully support global privacy protections, including the European Union's GDPR and California's CCPA guidelines.

• Right to be Forgotten & Access: Since we do not collect, process, or store any personal data on our servers, there is no data database for you to request access to or ask us to delete. Your data is entirely under your own control on your local device.
• Data Portability: You can print your calculation outputs directly using your browser's print options, or clear your local storage to manage your personal health footprint.

5. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

MHTC does not knowingly collect or target information from children under the age of 13. All our calculators are designed for adult educational and fitness purposes, and we do not maintain user accounts or capture information from children.

6. Security

All communication between your browser and MHTC is encrypted using HTTPS (SSL). Because we do not store any user files, credentials, or medical histories on our servers, MHTC is naturally protected against data breaches that compromise user identities.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserves the right to update this policy to reflect modifications in browser local storage requirements or third-party ad network standards. The updated policy is immediately effective upon publication. We encourage you to review this page periodically to remain informed about our privacy safeguards.
